今天早上到办公室，看见经理在我凳子上放了两张内部刊物的彩页，其中一张在Intel的公开网站也能看到：


其实网页上另一个关于cleanroom的图也挺好玩的。

最近公司限量优惠，每人可以购买一台classmate PC，带手写屏的400，不带的350多。如果哪位朋友需要，我可以帮忙代买。

昨天在Costco买了白桃，今天早上找了一个有点软的做早餐，竟然可以直接剥皮吃。里面汁水很甜，很有在国内吃“深州蜜”（桃）的感觉。

这个周末重读《不能承受的生命之轻》（The unbearable lightness of being）。其实我更喜欢老译名《生命不能承受之轻》，尽管新的更贴近于原名。有人说好书每十年拿出来重读，都会有新的收获和感悟。至少这个independent day的长周末，重读这本书是我最大的收获。

档案馆里堆的那一捆捆发黑的论文，比墓地还要凄惨，即便到了万灵节，也不会有人去看一眼。文化就在大批的制造、言语的泛滥、数量的失控中逐渐消亡

前两天看报，说德州五分之一的驾车人，即四百万人，没有汽车保险。竟然还有一个教堂的paster攻击警察，因为警察要罚一个没有汽车保险的教徒（link）。

Anyway，大家如果只买了半保，最好再加上一个Uninsured Motorist的保险。这样，即使对方司机没有保险，如果是他的责任，你的保险公司也会负责你的损失。
